ગુજરાત સરકારે નવી સોલાર રૂફટોપ યોજના માટે રૂ. 1000 કરોડની જાહેરાત કરી, જેનો હેતુ એક વર્ષમાં 2 લાખ પરિવારોને આવરી લેવાનો છે. લાભાર્થીઓને 3 KW સુધી 40% સબસિડી આપવામાં આવશે અને 3-10 KW સિસ્ટમ માટે 20% સબસિડી આપવામાં આવશે:

Solar rooftop Gujarat budget 2019-20 Provision of Rs.1000-crore has been made for a new solar rooftop scheme whereby 2-lakh families will be covered during the year, and beneficiaries will be given a subsidy of 40% up to 3-KW and subsidy of 20% for a system of 3 to 10-KW.
