SECI tender deadlines move often, and the engineering behind a bid takes longer than most bid teams plan for. This page lists the open SECI tender 2026 notices relevant to solar and storage EPCs and developers. Each entry is taken from the SECI tenders page as it read on 6 October 2026.
Quick answer. As of 6 October 2026, SECI’s tenders page lists open solar, storage and wind notices. The 700 MW ISTS-connected solar RfS (C&I-1) is due 15 October. The 800 MW / 3,200 MWh BESS RfS (ESS-IV) is due 30 October. A 60 MW solar EPC tender at Gaya, Bihar, is due 12 November. Confirm every date on seci.co.in, because corrigenda change them.

The table lists energy tenders from the SECI tenders page on 6 October 2026. Non-energy notices, such as IT systems and office leasing, are left out.

Recently closed notices
The same page showed notices whose dates had passed by 6 October 2026. They included the 70 MW solar plus 25 MW / 50 MWh BESS EPC package at Ramagiri, Andhra Pradesh (due 30/09/2026). It also showed a 922.635 kW rooftop CAPEX tender (due 04/10/2026). Check the detail page for any extension before you rule one out.
What Each SECI Tender Type Needs From Engineering
The SECI list mixes three kinds of work. Each needs a different engineering package at bid stage.

Tariff-based solar and storage RfS
For a solar RfS, your bid tariff rests on the energy yield you can defend. That means a PVsyst model with stated losses and a P90 figure your lender accepts. For storage or peak-supply bids, you also need a charge and discharge plan that meets the supply profile in the RfS.

EPC tenders
EPC tenders ask you to build to SECI’s specification at a named site. Price risk sits in the BOQ, civil work and cable runs. Our ground-mount solar design service covers bid-stage layouts and quantities for this kind of tender.
Rooftop RESCO tranches
RESCO tranches combine many small roofs. Each roof needs its own layout, shading check and structural review. A wrong roof survey on one building can make that site unviable after award.
A Bid Engineering Timeline Against SECI Due Dates
Work backward from the bid due date. The steps below are a planning template, not a SECI requirement.
- RfS issued: download the document and the site or connectivity data.
- First week: draft layout and first yield run on agreed loss assumptions.
- Before the pre-bid meeting: list questions on site data, connectivity and specification.
- After clarifications: update the model for any change in the RfS or its amendments.
- Final week: freeze yield, BOQ and cost model. Check module eligibility against the MNRE ALMM list.

How to Track SECI Tender Changes
SECI posts amendments, corrigenda and pre-bid replies on each tender’s detail page. Due dates on the list can change after you first read them.
- Check the detail page weekly for each tender you follow.
- Keep a dated log of every amendment you read.
- Rerun the yield or cost model when an amendment changes capacity, site or specification.

Does SECI publish a full-year tender calendar for 2026? We did not find a published full-year calendar on seci.co.in. This page lists notices as they appear on the tenders list.
Can a small EPC bid for SECI work? EPC tenders and rooftop tranches set their own eligibility terms. Read the qualification section of each document before you start engineering.
